  2. This is the portable "C" version of a text adventure game "WORLD".
  3. It is a large game in the flavor of Adventure or Zork, and about as large.
  4. It is, however, a "sci-fi" type game somewhat like the commercial
  5. Infocom games "Planetfall" or "Starcross", but much larger.

  9.    This is the easiest program to port to the Amiga that I have tried.
  10.    I will distribute the source in a while if no bugs are found.  I
  11.    have not tested the program extensively, but I have not noticed any
  12.    problems so far.

  17.        world.data   - The world data file.
  18.        world.readme - This file.
  19.  
  20.    Games may be saved and restored with the commands "save" and "restore".
  21.    The saved game file name is "world.save".
